of <h1>Central Government Amends Customs Tariff: 25% on Methanol, 10% on Aluminum Scrap, New Items Added to List 2</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 23/98-Customs, dated June 2, 1998, under the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment introduces changes to the tariff on methanol and aluminum waste and scrap. Specifically, methanol is now subject to a 25% tariff under serial number 48A, while aluminum waste and scrap have a 10% tariff under serial number 131A. Additionally, the tariff entry for serial number 89 has been changed to 'Nil.' The amendment also adds new items, including Zalcitabine, Saquinavir, AZT, and Ritonavir, to List 2.
