of <h1>Customs Duty Amended: 20% Duty on N-Paraffin for Linear Alkyl Benzene Production Under Notification 68/98-Cus.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 23/98-Cus dated June 2, 1998, under the Customs Act, 1962, to include a new entry for N-Paraffin imported for use in the manufacture of Linear Alkyl Benzene. This amendment, detailed in Notification No. 68/98-Cus dated September 8, 1998, specifies that N-Paraffin will be subject to a 20% customs duty. This change is made in the public interest to facilitate the importation of N-Paraffin for industrial purposes.
