of <h1>India Withdraws Anti-Dumping Duty on Polystyrene from Malaysia, Korea, Taiwan, and Japan per Customs Tariff Act, Section 9A</h1> The Central Government of India has rescinded Notification No. 43/98-Customs, which imposed an anti-dumping duty on polystyrene originating from or exported by Malaysia, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, and Japan. This decision, formalized through Notification No. 89/98-Customs dated November 17, 1998, is made under the authority of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and relevant rules concerning the identification, assessment, and collection of anti-dumping duties. The original notification was published on June 30, 1998, in the Gazette of India.
