The amendment pertains to imports made under the Duty Entitlement Pass Book scheme. Specifically, it modifies condition (iv) of the original notification by replacing the locations 'Guntur, Varanasi, and Jodhpur' with 'Guntur, Varanasi, Jodhpur, Salem, Tirupur, Singanalur, Waluj, and Malanpur.' This change is made in the interest of public welfare.
