of <h1>New Amendment: Import Conditions Tightened for Jobbing Export Orders Under Customs Notification No. 32/97-Customs</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 32/97-Customs, dated April 1, 1997, under the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment, detailed in Notification No. 50/99-Cus dated April 29, 1999, introduces a new condition for importing goods for executing export orders for jobbing. The newly inserted condition specifies that the imported goods must not be items prohibited under the Export and Import Policy. This change is made in the public interest, utilizing the powers granted by the Customs Act.
