The amendment modifies condition (iv) concerning the Duty Entitlement Pass Book, which is now valid for twelve months from the date of issue. It specifies that imports and exports can only occur at designated sea ports, airports, and Inland Container Depots across India. However, the Commissioner of Customs may permit imports and exports from other locations by special order and under specified conditions.
