of <h1>Customs Notification Amended to Include Talcher-II Projects; Goods Supply Now Covered Under Revised Rules</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 36/97-Customs, dated April 11, 1997, under the Customs Act, 1962, through Notification No. 84/99-Cus, dated July 2, 1999. This amendment involves the inclusion of a provision in the explanation clause of the original notification. It specifies that the supply of goods to the Talcher-II and Talcher-II transmission projects will be covered under the notification, as per the Public Notice issued by the Ministry of Commerce on July 1, 1999. This amendment is made in the public interest.
