        <h1>Exchange rate schedule prescribes foreign currency conversion rates for stamp duty and customs, effective from the notified date.</h1> The Central Government prescribes an Exchange Rate Schedule for specified foreign currencies to be used for conversion into Indian currency for calculating stamp duty under the Indian Stamp Act and for determination under Section 14 of the Customs Act, superseding an earlier notification, with the listed rates operative from 1st July 1988.
