of <h1>Govt Amends Exchange Rate for Japanese Yen to 848 Under Notification No. 67/88-Cus. (N.T.), Effective Oct 28, 1988.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 64/88-Cus. (N.T.), originally issued on 27th September 1988, under the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, and the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment, specified in Notification No. 67/88-Cus. (N.T.) dated 25th October 1988, revises the exchange rate for the Japanese Yen to 848. This revised rate will take effect from 28th October 1988.
