of <h1>New Exchange Rate Set: 1 Russian Rouble = 18.6790 Indian Rupees, Effective July 11, 1989, under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Government, under the Customs Act, 1962, has issued a notification determining the exchange rate for converting the Russian Rouble to Indian Rupees and vice-versa. Superseding a previous notification dated November 21, 1988, the new exchange rate is set at 18.6790 Rupees per Russian Rouble. This rate is effective from July 11, 1989.
