of <h1>Customs Notification Amended: 'Test Equipments' Now Includes 'Raw Materials and Ingredients' Under Section 7, Clause (b)(vii)</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 6/89-Cus. (N.T.) concerning customs at airports, originally issued on February 6, 1989. Under the powers granted by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962, the amendment modifies clause (b), sub-clause (vii) of the original notification. The phrase 'and test equipments' is replaced with 'test equipments, raw materials and ingredients,' thereby expanding the scope of items covered under this clause. This change is formalized in Notification No. 10/90-Cus. (N.T.), dated March 27, 1990.
