of <h1>Customs Act 1962: Amendments to Notification No. 75/75-Cus Include Spectacle Parts, Life-Saving Drugs, and Jewellery Changes.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 75/75-Cus dated July 3, 1975, under the Customs Act, 1962. The amendments involve changes to the table in the notification. For Serial No. 1, in column 3, sub-item (a) now includes additional items: parts of spectacles, life-saving drugs, and unaccompanied baggage. In sub-item (b), a revision replaces the existing sub-item (iii) with 'jewellery set with or without precious and semi-precious stones,' and adds new sub-items: spectacle frames and unaccompanied baggage. These changes are effective as per Notification No. 25/90-Cus dated May 29, 1990.
