of <h1>Government Rescinds 1969 and 1980 Customs Notifications Under Section 11K of Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Central Government has rescinded Notifications No. 9-Customs, dated January 3, 1969, and No. 51-Customs, dated March 27, 1980, under the authority of sub-section (2) of section 11K of the Customs Act, 1962. This decision, effective from June 8, 1990, was made in the public interest by the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue and Insurance and Department of Revenue.
