of <h1>Government Amends EPCG Scheme: 100% Change in Notification No. 26/2000-Customs Under Section 25(1) of Customs Act.</h1> The Central Government has amended several Customs notifications related to the Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) Scheme. Specifically, the amendment pertains to Notification No. 26/2000-Customs dated March 1, 2000, where in List 5 of the Table, the entry in column (4) is changed to '100%.' This change is made under the authority of section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, in the public interest. The amendment was issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, and is documented in Notification No. 43/2003-Customs dated March 18, 2003.
