of <h1>Central Government Updates Foreign Currency Exchange Rates Under Customs Act, 1962 & Indian Stamp Act, 1899 Effective Feb 12, 1991.</h1> The Central Government has amended the exchange rates for certain foreign currencies under the Customs Act, 1962, and the Indian Stamp Act, 1899. This amendment modifies the previous notification issued on December 27, 1990. The updated exchange rates are as follows: Deutsche Marks at 7.7625, French Francs at 26.4300, and Japanese Yen at 686.5000. These changes will take effect from February 12, 1991.
