<h1>Central Government amends exchange rates under Customs Act, 1962, and Indian Stamp Act, 1899; new rates effective March 1991.</h1> The Central Government has issued an amendment to the Notification No. 80/90-NT-Cus, dated December 27, 1990, concerning exchange rates under the Customs Act, 1962, and the Indian Stamp Act, 1899. This amendment, effective March 24, 1991, modifies the exchange rates for certain currencies. The updated rates are as follows: Danish Kroners at 32.2100, Deutsche Marks at 8.3975, Dutch Guilders at 9.4675, and French Francs at 28.6000. These changes supersede previous entries for these currencies in the schedule of the original notification.
