Indian Government Sets New Exchange Rate for Russian Rouble at 23.4019 Rupees Under Customs Act, 1962

The Central Government of India, under the Customs Act, 1962, has issued Notification No. 25/91-Cus. (N.T.) dated 22nd March 1991, determining the exchange rate for converting one Russian Rouble into Indian currency or vice versa at 23.4019 rupees. This notification supersedes the previous Notification No. 16/91-NT-Customs dated 13th February 1991, and the new rate is effective from 22nd March 1991.
