of <h1>New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies Under Customs Act, 1962 Effective November 1, 1992</h1> The Central Government, under the Customs Act, 1962, has set exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian currency for export goods, effective from November 1, 1992. The notification lists the exchange rates for various currencies, including Austrian Schillings at 38.3400, Australian Dollars at 5.0355, Belgian Francs at 112.0000, Canadian Dollars at 4.3865, and U.S. Dollars at 3.5495, among others. These rates are used for customs purposes to determine the conversion value of foreign currencies into Indian Rupees for export transactions.
