<h1>Govt. of India Updates Currency Exchange Rates for Exports Under Customs Act, 1962, Effective Feb 1, 1993.</h1> The Central Government of India issued Notification No. 10/93-Cus. (N.T.) on January 29, 1993, under the Customs Act, 1962, establishing new exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian currency for export goods. Effective from February 1, 1993, the notification supersedes the previous notification No. 79/92-Customs (N.T.) dated December 28, 1992. The exchange rates are listed for various currencies, including the U.S. Dollar at 3.4385, the Pound Sterling at 2.2624, and the Japanese Yen at 427.5400, among others.
