of <h1>Dahej Port Designated as Customs Port Under Customs Act, 1962 for Specific Exports and Imports Until June 1995.</h1> The Central Government has designated Dahej Port in Gujarat as a Customs Port under the Customs Act, 1962, effective from January 28, 1993. This appointment supersedes a previous notification from May 1, 1984. Dahej Port is authorized for the loading of export goods, specifically crew baggage and machinery re-exported from the Gandhar Gas Power Project until June 1995. It is also designated for unloading import goods, including crew baggage, fertilizers, rock phosphate, sulphur, and machinery for the Gandhar Gas Power Project until June 1995.
