<h1>India Sets New Currency Exchange Rates for Export Goods Under Customs Act, Effective March 1, 1993</h1> The Central Government of India, under the Customs Act, 1962, has issued Notification No. 20/93-Cus. (N.T.) dated February 26, 1993, determining the exchange rates for various foreign currencies in relation to export goods. Effective from March 1, 1993, the specified exchange rates for conversion into Indian currency are listed in the notification's schedule. These rates include Austrian Schillings at 38.3960, Australian Dollars at 4.8525, Belgian Francs at 112.9000, and U.S. Dollars at 3.3665, among others, for every Rs. 100. This notification supersedes the previous notification No. 10/93-Customs (N.T.).
