For serial number 5, the jurisdiction now includes the Port of Chennai, Meenambakkam Airport, and certain areas in Thiruvallur and Kanchipuram districts, along with designated areas in India's Continental Shelf and Exclusive Economic Zone. For serial number 20, the jurisdiction encompasses the entire state of Tamil Nadu, excluding the Chennai customs area, and the Union Territory of Pondicherry, excluding Mahe Commune and Yanam territory.
