<h1>India Revises Exchange Rates for Export Goods Effective April 1, 1993, Under Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Central Government of India, under the Customs Act, 1962, has issued Notification No. 27/93-Cus. (N.T.) dated March 29, 1993, determining the exchange rates for export goods effective from April 1, 1993. This notification supersedes the previous notification No. 21/93-Customs (N.T.) dated March 2, 1993. The exchange rates for various foreign currencies against Indian currency are specified, including Austrian Schillings, Australian Dollars, Belgian Francs, Canadian Dollars, and others, with the U.S. Dollar set at a rate of 3.1925 per Rs. 100.
