of <h1>Customs Act Amendment: Gold Added to Designated Airports List in Notification 75-Cus, 1975, Under Section 7(a)</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 75-Cus., dated 3rd July 1975, under the authority of section 7(a) of the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment, specified in Notification No. 29/93-Cus. (N.T.) dated 19th April 1993, involves an addition to the table in the original notification. Specifically, under serial No. 1, column (3), item (a), a new sub-item '(ix) gold' has been inserted. This amendment pertains to the designation of customs airports for specified purposes, now including gold.
