of <h1>Redi Port Designated as Customs Port for Crew Baggage, Metallurgical Coke, Coal, and Iron Ore Exports Under Customs Act 1962.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 72-Customs, dated May 19, 1973, under the powers granted by the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment designates the port of Redi in Maharashtra as a customs port. This designation allows for the loading and unloading of crew baggage, the unloading of metallurgical coke or coal, and the loading of iron ore for export. This change is formalized in Notification No. 40/93-Cus. (N.T.), dated August 2, 1993.
