of <h1>Government Amends Exchange Rate for Malaysian Dollar to 11.55 in Customs Notification No. 1/94-Cus. (N.T.)</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 65/93-Cus. (N.T.) regarding exchange rates for imported goods. This amendment, issued as Notification No. 1/94-Cus. (N.T.) on January 21, 1994, modifies the exchange rate for the Malaysian Dollar listed in Schedule-I. The new rate is set at 11.55 and will be effective from January 22, 1994. This change is made under the authority of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, and the Customs Act, 1962, as part of the Ministry of Finance's efforts to update non-tariff customs regulations.
