of <h1>Dharamtar Port Designated as Customs Port Under Customs Act 1962 for Iron Ore and DRI Trade</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, has designated Dharamtar port in Maharashtra as a Customs port. This designation allows for the unloading of imported iron ore pellets and lumps, as well as the loading of direct reduced iron (DRI) for export. This appointment is formalized under Notification No. 38/94-Cus. (N.T.), dated August 8, 1994.
