of <h1>Port Blair Customs Port Designated for Export Loading Under Section 7 of Customs Act 1962, Effective September 5, 1994.</h1> Port Blair Customs port has been officially designated for the loading of export goods of any class. This amendment, effective from September 5, 1994, is made under the authority of clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962. It modifies a previous notification issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, dated July 20, 1989. The amendment replaces item (a) in the original notification to specifically allow for the loading of export goods or any class of such goods at the Port Blair Customs port.
