<h1>Central Government Sets New Currency Exchange Rates for Export Goods Under Customs Act, 1962, Effective April 1, 1995.</h1> Notification No. 22/95-Cus. (N.T.), dated March 29, 1995, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Act, 1962, establishes new exchange rates for export goods effective April 1, 1995. It supersedes the previous notification No. 12/95-NT-Customs. The rates for converting various foreign currencies into Indian rupees are specified in two schedules. Schedule I lists individual currency units, such as the U.S. Dollar at 31.52 INR and the Pound Sterling at 50.35 INR. Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of currencies like Belgian Francs at 108.69 INR and Japanese Yen at 35.14 INR.
