of <h1>Central Govt Amends Exchange Rates Notification for Export Goods under Customs Act, 1962; New Rates Effective June 1, 1995.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 28/95-Cus. (N.T.) regarding exchange rates for export goods under the Customs Act, 1962. Effective from June 1, 1995, the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees are outlined in two schedules. Schedule I lists the rates for one unit of various currencies, including the U.S. Dollar at 31.27 INR and the Pound Sterling at 50.31 INR. Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of certain currencies, such as Belgian Francs at 109.53 INR and Japanese Yen at 37.06 INR.
