of <h1>Central Excise Notification Amended: Committee Roles Updated for Chandigarh, Delhi, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Jammu & Kashmir.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has amended the notification No. 24/2005-Central Excise (N.T.) dated May 13, 2005, under the Central Excise Act, 1944. The amendment involves changes in the composition of committees of Chief Commissioners of Central Excise. Specifically, the roles for Sl. No. 5 have been updated to include the Chief Commissioner of Central Excise in Chandigarh, covering Chandigarh and Jalandhar, and the Chief Commissioner of Central Excise in Delhi, covering Ludhiana and Jammu and Kashmir. This notification is signed by the Joint Secretary to the Government of India.
