of <h1>Yelshanka Air Force Station designated as Customs Airport for Aero-India 96 under Section 7 of Customs Act 1962.</h1> The Central Government has designated Yelshanka Air Force Station in Bangalore, Karnataka, as a Customs Airport for the Aero-India 96 event. This appointment, under the authority of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962, allows for the unloading of equipment brought by exhibitors and participants of the International Aerospace Exposition. The notification is effective from November 26, 1996, and will remain in effect until December 10, 1996.
