of <h1>Central Government Updates Exchange Rates for Export Goods: New Rates Effective from October 10, 1998</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 76/98-Cus. (N.T.) regarding exchange rates for export goods. The amendments involve changes to the exchange rates for several foreign currencies. In Schedule-I, the rates for the Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Dutch Guilder, Sterling Pound, and Swiss Franc have been updated to 26.05, 27.75, 23.20, 71.75, and 32.55 Indian Rupees, respectively. In Schedule-II, the rates for 100 units of Belgian Francs and Japanese Yen have been revised to 126.20 and 34.70 Indian Rupees, respectively. These rates are effective from October 10, 1998.
