of <h1>Customs Act Update: New Items Added to List A, Including Solvents, Printing Inks, and Optical Grade Polycarbonate.</h1> Notification No. 8/2003-Customs, dated January 13, 2003, amends the previous Notification No. 25/99-Customs from February 28, 1999. Exercising powers under section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962, the Central Government has revised entries in List A of the original notification. Specifically, S.No. 168 and its entries are replaced with new items including DBE Solvent, DMH Solvent, Printing Inks, Protective U.V. Lacquer, Dyes, Optical grade polycarbonate, Methyl Lactate, OFP, Cake Box, BOPP Film, Jewel box, Silver Sputtering Target, and CD-R (unrecorded CD).
