(N.T.), dated May 26, 1999, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Act, 1962, supersedes Notification No. 27/99-Cus. (N.T.) dated April 23, 1999. It establishes new exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian rupees for export goods, effective June 1, 1999. Schedule I lists exchange rates for individual units of currencies like the Austrian Schilling, Australian Dollar, and U.S. Dollar. Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of currencies such as the Belgian Franc, Italian Lira, and Japanese Yen.
