(N.T.) under the Customs Act, 1962, regarding the appointment of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (D.R.I.) officials as Customs Officers. The amendment, issued under Notification No. 36/99-Cus. (N.T.) dated June 8, 1999, modifies the table in the original notification. Specifically, for the State of Gujarat and the Union Territories of Daman, Diu, Dadra, and Nagar Haveli, the locations listed in column 4 are updated by replacing 'Surat and Jamnagar' with 'Surat, Jamnagar and Gandhi-dham.'
