of <h1>New Exchange Rates for Export Goods Announced, Effective 1st November 1999, Under Customs Act 1962</h1> Notification No. 61/99-Cus. (N.T.), dated 26th October 1999, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Act, 1962, supersedes Notification No. 57/99-Cus. (N.T.) and sets new exchange rates for export goods effective from 1st November 1999. The notification details the conversion rates of various foreign currencies into Indian Rupees. For instance, one US Dollar is equivalent to 43.25 Indian Rupees, one Euro is 46.20 Indian Rupees, and 100 Japanese Yen is 40.95 Indian Rupees. These rates are specified in two schedules appended to the notification.
