of <h1>New Exchange Rates for Converting Foreign Currencies to INR Announced Under Customs Act, 1962, Effective December 1, 1999.</h1> Notification No. 65/99-Cus. (N.T.), dated November 25, 1999, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Act, 1962, supersedes Notification No. 61/99-Cus. (N.T.). It establishes new exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian Rupees for export goods, effective December 1, 1999. Schedule I lists the exchange rates for individual units of currencies like the US Dollar (43.20 INR), Euro (44.40 INR), and Pound Sterling (70.15 INR). Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of currencies such as the Belgian Franc (110.05 INR) and Japanese Yen (41.25 INR).
