of <h1>Amendment to Customs Notification No. 12/97-Customs: Rajkot, Vapi, Verna added as new inland container depots for imports/exports.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 12/97-Customs (N.T.) under the Customs Act, 1962, to include new inland container depots for loading and unloading goods in Gujarat and Goa. Specifically, Rajkot and Vapi in Gujarat are now designated for unloading import goods and loading export goods. Additionally, Verna in Goa is included for the same purposes. This amendment is part of a series of updates to the original notification dated April 2, 1997, and follows several previous amendments aimed at enhancing customs operations at various locations.
