of <h1>Amendment to Customs Notification No. 62/94-Customs (N.T.) allows import/export at Ennore, effective January 24, 2001.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 62/94-Customs (N.T.) under the Customs Act, 1962, concerning the appointment of customs ports for specified purposes. This amendment, effective from January 24, 2001, modifies the entries related to Ennore in Tamil Nadu. The updated provision allows for the unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of such goods at Ennore. This change is part of ongoing updates to facilitate customs operations, as previously outlined in earlier amendments, including the one dated October 17, 2000.
