of <h1>Central Government Rescinds 24 Central Excise Notifications Issued Between 1967-1985, Effective February 28, 1986, Per Rule 8(1).</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, has rescinded 24 existing notifications related to Central Excise, effective from February 28, 1986. These notifications, issued between 1967 and 1985 by various departments within the Ministry of Finance, include those numbered 94/67-C.E. to 241/85-C.E. The rescinded notifications pertain to miscellaneous exemptions within the Central Excise Tariff framework.
