of <h1>Government Exempts Soya Textured Protein and Soya Milk from Excise Duty Under Rule 8 Notification</h1> The Central Government, exercising its authority under sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, has issued Notification No. 286/86-C.E. dated May 5, 1986. This notification exempts soya textured protein and soya milk from the entire excise duty as specified in the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985. These goods fall under sub-heading numbers 2107.91 and 2202.90, respectively, in the Schedule to the Tariff Act.
