The amendment substitutes the entries for Sl. No. 2 in the table, specifying that electric storage batteries under Chapter 85.07 are exempt from excise duty if they are used as original equipment parts in certain tractors and vehicles, including those manufactured in a Central Government Ordnance Factory, provided specific conditions are met. Additionally, Sl. No. 4 and its related entries are removed from the notification.
