The notification amends a previous government notification regarding Central Excise exemptions for specified goods under Chapters 25, 27, 28, 29, 31, and 32. It modifies the description for S. No. 18, replacing "grinding wheels" with "grinding wheels or coated abrasives." Additionally, new entries are introduced: S. No. 19 for lime used in soda ash, sodium bicarbonate, and bleach liquor production; S. No. 20 for inert gas, synthesis gas, and gypsum used in ammonia or fertilizer production; S. No. 21 for producer gas; and S. No. 22 for certain chemicals used in Sulphonamides production. These exemptions apply when goods are consumed within the production factory.
