Excise exemption for mohair fabrics manufactured without power removes the duty otherwise leviable under the tariff. The notification exempts mohair fabrics manufactured without the aid of power and falling under tariff subheading 5108.00 from the whole duty of excise leviable thereon, under powers conferred by sub rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944.
