<h1>New Exchange Rates for Export Goods Under Customs Act 1962 Effective September 1, 2000, Superseding Previous Notification</h1> Notification No. 52/2000-Cus. (N.T.), dated August 28, 2000, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Act, 1962, supersedes Notification No. 48/2000-Cus. (N.T.). It establishes new exchange rates for converting foreign currencies into Indian Rupees for export goods, effective from September 1, 2000. Schedule I lists the exchange rates for one unit of various foreign currencies, including the US Dollar at 45.75 INR and the Euro at 41.05 INR. Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of certain currencies, such as the Japanese Yen at 42.70 INR and the Belgian Franc at 101.75 INR.
