of <h1>Commissioner of Customs Appointed as Common Adjudicating Authority for Show Cause Notice Under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has appointed the Commissioner of Customs (Adjudication), Delhi, as the common adjudicating authority under the Customs Act, 1962. This appointment empowers the Commissioner to exercise the powers and discharge the duties of the Commissioners of Customs at Inland Container Depot, Tughlakabad, New Delhi; Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Raigad, Maharashtra; and Custom House, Kandla. This is for adjudicating matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued to a company and others by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, Delhi Zonal Unit, on February 26, 2009.
