This appointment enables the Commissioner to exercise powers and duties for the Commissioners of Customs and Central Excise in Faridabad and Ghaziabad. The role involves adjudicating matters related to a Show Cause Notice issued to a trading company and others by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence. This decision is formalized in Notification No. 93/2009-Cus., dated July 20, 2009.
