of <h1>Di-Calcium Phosphate Used in Animal Feed Exempt from Excise Duty per Central Excise Rules, 1944, Rule 8 Notification</h1> The Central Government, under sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, has issued Notification No. 442/86-C.E. dated November 6, 1986, exempting di-calcium phosphate from the entire excise duty specified in the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985. This exemption applies to di-calcium phosphate conforming to I.S. Specification No. 5470-1969, classified under Chapter 28 or 31 of the Schedule, provided it is used as an ingredient in the manufacture of animal feed supplements.
