of <h1>Central Govt amends Notification No. 56/72 to include categories 57 and 63 under rule 8(1) of Central Excise Rules.</h1> Notification No. 7/87-C.E., dated January 19, 1987, issued by the Central Government under rule 8(1) of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, amends the earlier notification No. 56/72-Central Excises from March 17, 1972. The amendment involves a change in the figures and words in the opening portion of the notification, replacing '53 or 56' with '53, 56, 57 or 63,' thereby extending the scope of the notification to include additional categories.
